What will you do?

We are looking for a person who will take care of new projects and also develop our client's existing infrastructure. The responsibilities can be divided into two main categories. You will spend most of your time on the first one:

1. New projects including creating new environments from a scratch and auditing the existing ones, configuration of the new services and H/A solutions implementation. You will have a great influence on the choice of the technologies and the overall architecture of the environment. You will also have a direct contact with clients' development teams.

• setting up new servers
• HA solutions implementation (clusters, replication, load balancing)
• performance optimization (database tuning, cache implementation)
• making services scallable
• preparing deployment solutions (CI)
• automation (writing scripts, ansible playbooks)
• technical documentation writing (mainly for our internal wiki pages)

2. Problem solving, that means responding to breakdowns and handling our client's requests.

• tracking the source of the service / application downtime
• system load analysis (e.g. increased traffic, sql queries, attacks)
• performance optimization (www/db/cache)
• debugging problems with CI processes

What we expect?

• you have at least 4 years of experience working in similar positions
• you communicate in English fluently (C1/C2)
• you know at least one programming language at the level required to automate tasks (Python will be huge plus)
• you have expirence with Ansible/Salt/Chef/Puppet (choose one)
• you have expirence with AWS and terraform/cloudformation
• you agree to phone duty outside of the regular working hours

Salary

• B2B contract: 10 500 - 16 000 PLN net
